More than 400 independent clinical studies have shown that TL narrowband UVB lamps are safer and more effective than any other lamp in their class. This is because these lamps emit only a very narrow waveband of the UV 'B' spectrum (290 to 315). This narrow waveband is between 305 and 315 nm and peaks at 311 nm: the most effective waveband for the treatment of psoriasis.
